Tasos Peppas was born in Piraeus on 28 July 1977. His first experience with drums came at the age of 9 years old. During his teenage years he started playing in various school bands such as Psychoanalysis, Earth majesty, Mosquitoes, Athorivoi while attending drum lessons with his first teacher Nikos Beveratos.
In 2000 he started lessons with various Greek drummers such as Stratos Sidereas , Nikos Touliatos, Nikos Kapilidis, Kallistratos Drakopoulos, Serapheim Belos.
In 2002 he participated in the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar with orchestra leader George Fakanas.
Since 2003 he is a member of the famous Greek rock band Ypogeia Revmata and has performed concerts in Greece and Europe. He has recorded 8 albums.
In 2004 he started his studies at the Modern Music School of Athens with Yannis Stavropoulos as director of studies and graduated in 2007 having attended seminars by Greek and international musicians such as George Kollias, Nikos Sidirikastritis, George Palamiotis, Mampre Kasardjian, Sami Amiri, Dom Famularo, Thomas Lang, Jojo Mayer and many others.
Since 2005 he has collaborated in studio and in concerts with various Greek artists, such as Thanos Mikroutsikos, Yiannis Kotsiras, Christos Thivaios, Giannis Koutras, Thanos Anestopoulos, Ilias Pantoleon, Vaggelis Kazantzis, Apostolos Kaltsas, Apostolos Rizos, Anemos, Trifono, Nikos Ksidakis, Stavros Siolas, Sassa Papalamprou, Kostas Dimouleas, A Des Potes, Trouble Sleep, Rot, Spiritual Evolution.
In 2006 he participated in the musical theatre performance Heroes.
In 2007 he became a member of the progressive band Chewing Gun and he recorded 2 albums.
In 2009 he attended music technology courses by Paschalis Kollentzis, Kimon Tsomidis and Petros Petropoulos.
In 2010 he attended drumline courses by Spyros Dorizas.
Since 2011 he teaches at the Athens College-Conservatory and at the Thalis Conservatory.
Since 2015 he is a member of the nujazz band Iota and they have released 1 album.
